Looking for a game like Tribal Wars?

Tribal Wars is one of the first browser strategy games and still has loyal worlds. Crownforge keeps what made it good, a growing settlement, timers and a tribe, and changes what pushes many players away: losing everything to a stronger neighbour.

What Tribal Wars is

Tribal Wars is a browser strategy game by InnoGames, first published in 2003, also available on mobile. You grow a medieval village, train an army and join a tribe. Villages are conquered with noblemen, who lower a village's loyalty with each successful attack until it changes owner. The game runs on separate worlds with their own rules.

What Crownforge shares with it

A settlement you grow building by building, resources and timers on the server, an army and an alliance. A few short visits a day keep you in the game, and the browser is all you need.

What is different

Nobody can take your kingdom. PvP is mild: troops are not lost permanently and castles do not burn.

More to see. Crownforge is a fantasy city-builder in a 2.5D cartoon style. Every building has 30 levels in six visual stages and each stage is an animated rebuild.

Heroes and dragons. Six heroes with bonds that act as reactions in battle, and three dragons, Rhazir, Aeralis and Velith, that hatch from eggs and grow.

A shared story. Players name rivers and bridges in public votes and the Chronicle records what happens in the valley.

When Tribal Wars is the better choice

If you want a hardcore war game where conquest is the point and a world ends with one tribe on top, Tribal Wars is built for that and has two decades of experience. Crownforge is for players who want the same rhythm without the fear of being wiped out.
