What Kingshot is
Kingshot is a mobile strategy game by Century Games, released in 2025 for Android and iOS. You build a medieval town, train an army, collect heroes and play in alliances, with large events where whole kingdoms compete. On a computer people usually run it through an Android emulator, because it is made for phones.
What Crownforge shares with it
The core loop will feel familiar. You turn a small settlement into a kingdom, upgrade buildings level by level, research, train troops and lead heroes. Timers run on the server, so the town keeps building while you are away and a few short visits a day are enough.
Alliances are online in the beta: members help each other with timers, send gifts, chat and take a weekly oath together.
What is different
Crownforge runs in the browser. Open the page on a laptop, a desktop or a phone and play; nothing to install, no emulator, no account needed to start.
Dragons are part of the army. Rhazir, Aeralis and Velith hatch from eggs and grow with your kingdom, and six heroes with eight bonds act as reactions in battle.
PvP is deliberately mild. Troops are not lost permanently and castles do not burn, so one stronger neighbour cannot undo weeks of play.
Every building has 30 levels in six visual stages, and each new stage is an animated rebuild, so you can see your kingdom grow.
When Kingshot is the better choice
Kingshot is a finished game with a large player base, many events and a big competitive scene. If you want massive kingdom wars today, it offers more of that than a game in open beta. Crownforge suits players who want a calmer kingdom on any screen and like being early in a new world.
