A strategy game where you raise dragons

In Crownforge dragons are not monsters to farm. They hatch, grow with your kingdom and fight beside your heroes. Three of them are in the beta today.

Three dragons in the current build

Rhazir of the Forge breathes golden fire. Aeralis of Shields protects the army. Velith of the Forest belongs to the old woods. Each starts as a warm egg found in the valleys, centuries after the first dragon king, Arvakh, vanished.

As your kingdom grows, so do they. Dragons support the army in battle and have their own place in the story of the world.

Dragons and heroes together

Six heroes are playable now: Elira, Gorvak, Sylena, Bromek, Kaedra and Maelis. In battle their bonds work as reactions, so the right pair of heroes with the right dragon matters more than raw numbers.

Where the dragons come from

The lore of Crownforge tells of dragon dynasties, political houses of intelligent dragons, and of Arvakh, the dragon king who disappeared in the Age of the Broken Oath. You can read his story in the Chronicle on this site.

Questions and answers

How many dragons are there?

Three in the current build: Rhazir, Aeralis and Velith. More belong to the lore; we label them as planned until they are playable.

Can I ride the dragons?

Dragons support your army in battle. The dragon flight shots in our videos are cinematic cut-ins animated from game art, not gameplay.
