From one hearth to a kingdom
You begin with a few ruined houses, a cold forge and a square where the town hall used to stand. Every building has 30 levels in six visual stages. When a building reaches a new stage, you see it rebuilt in an animation: scaffolding, new walls, a new roof, then the finished house.
The forge is a good example. At the start it is a village smithy. Later liquid gold flows through it and a blue sword stands in the stone beside it.
More than placing houses
The city feeds everything else. The army trains in the city, the Academy researches the Seven Laws of magic, and the walls and towers you upgrade decide how well you hold the weekly raid of 20 waves.
Outside the walls lies a painted province map with roads, rivers and other castles. Heroes go on hunts there and the saga board tells the story of the valley.
A cartoon look that stays readable
The game uses a warm, premium cartoon style in 2.5D isometric view. It is easy to read on a small phone screen and still detailed on a large monitor.
