What you do in Crownforge

You take over an abandoned settlement at the foot of the mountains and turn it into a kingdom. Every building has 30 levels split into six visual stages, and each new stage is an animated rebuild: a wooden hut grows into a stone house with a glowing crystal, a village smithy becomes a forge where liquid gold flows.

Around the city you send heroes on hunts, defend your walls in a weekly raid of 20 waves and research the Seven Laws of magic in the Academy. Three dragons, Rhazir, Aeralis and Velith, hatch from eggs, grow and fight beside your army.

Why a browser game

A browser game starts where you are. Play a few minutes on the laptop during a break and continue on the phone in the evening: your kingdom lives on the server, not on one device.

You start as a guest. When you want to keep your progress safe, you add an e-mail address. Until then nobody asks you for anything.

Strategy without losing everything

Many strategy games punish one bad evening: a stronger player attacks and your army is gone. In Crownforge PvP is deliberately mild. Troops are not lost permanently and castles do not burn. The pressure comes from the raid, the hunts and the goals you set with your alliance.

Free, and in open beta

Crownforge is free to play. It is in open beta, so balance and screens still change. On this site we label what already works in the game and what is still planned, so you know what you get today.

Questions and answers

Do I need to download anything?

No. Crownforge runs in the browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

Is it a real strategy game or a clicker?

You plan your city, your research and your army, and you defend against a raid with walls and towers. Timers and resources matter; it is a city-builder with strategy, not a one-button clicker.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Alliances are online: members help each other with timers, send gifts, chat and share a Chronicle and a weekly oath.
