Above the canyon between the Crown Lands and the Vark Highlands stands half a bridge. Seven kingdoms began building it as a sign of alliance. Each raised one pillar and carved its oath into it. When the oaths were broken, the work stopped. The scaffolding has been rotting for centuries.
Merchants say the finished bridge would be the shortest trade road on the continent. Soldiers say it would be an impregnable fortress. The dragon priests of the Gate claim the pillars are really nests and the bridge is meant to be a sanctuary.
They are all right and none of them are. The bridge will become whatever those who finish it decide.
In Crownforge the Bridge of Seven Crowns is one of the Great Works. No single player or alliance can build a project like this. It takes the resources of a whole server, caravan escorts and victories in battles for strategic points. When the work is complete, players choose its ending and the world changes according to their choice.
We are not waiting for launch. On the Players' Council page you can already vote on what the Bridge should become. We will take the result into account when designing the first great campaign.
A legend of the world of Crownforge. Game features are described with their status on the other pages.
